Morton A. Kaplan, Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus at the University of Chicago, and former publisher
of The World & I magazine, has had one of the most varied and unusual careers in academia. His path-breaking book, S
ystem and Process in International Politics (1957), began the scientific study of international relations. It was one of the first three volumes republished by the European Consortium for Political Research in their classics of political science series. His numerous other books include
Science, Language and the Human Condition, and
Law in a Democratic Society. He is one of the few writers who has taken a synoptic approach to philosophy while using analytic techniques.
Morton Kaplan is President in Professors World Peace Academy International.

Chung Hwan Kwak was born on January 22, 1936, in Kyungbok, Korea. He received a B.A. in law from Sangji University and M.A. in western philosophy from Kun Kook University Graduate School. He received an honorary Ph.D. in humanities in 1986 from the University of Baguio, the Philippines.
Besides being Chairman of the Board of Professors World Peace Academy, he is Chairman of the Board of the Universal Peace Federation. He serves on the board or is an executive officer of many other organizations including News World Communications, Paragon House Publishers, and the International Relief and Friendship Foundation.
